Governor's Lecture Series - Operation Postmaster: Delivering the True Story

Join Ashley Barnett as he tells the true story of Operation Postmaster, which has recently appeared on the public stage following its ‘inclusion’ in the 2024 Guy Ritchie film, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.

The talk will begin with a brief introduction to the Special Operations Executive (SOE) – otherwise known by its wartime cover name of the Inter-Services Research Bureau (ISRB), or simply as “the firm”. This wartime secret organisation was subsequently dubbed The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
