Support veterans. Strengthen community. Help shape the future of one of Britain's most distinctive historic institutions.
The Royal Hospital Chelsea is home to the iconic Chelsea Pensioners, retired soldiers of the British Army. Since 1692, we have provided care and comradeship in recognition of their service to the Nation. Volunteers play a vital role in our community. Working alongside Chelsea Pensioners and staff, they support activities, events, visitor experiences and daily life across the Royal Hospital.
Volunteering at Royal Hospital Chelsea is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution while becoming part of a unique community. Whether you are supporting Chelsea Pensioners, welcoming visitors, preserving heritage, assisting at events or sharing professional skills, every volunteer helps make a difference.
