Ensuring those who have served are always supported

Two Chelsea Pensioners, dressed in their iconic scarlet uniform, are presented a large high value check by 2 donors in the opulent wood panelled Wren Chapel.

Thanks to generous grants from trusts and foundations, we are providing outstanding care to Chelsea Pensioners. This support is critical in ensuring that the Royal Hospital Chelsea can continue its historic purpose of providing a home for veterans of the British Army. We are proud to work in partnership with our grant funders.  Their support is helping to transform lives.  Single or multi-year gifts can help fund our core services or be used to realise a specific project. With further support, we will continue to improve our care, facilities and services – so that Chelsea Pensioners and the wider veteran community can enjoy the best quality of life and this iconic institution can look forward to a safe and bright future.

Tailored support from our dedicated team

Our dedicated team works hard to understand the interests of every trust and foundation we approach – ensuring that we match our work, as closely as possible, to their funding priorities. In addition, we offer visits so that donors can meet staff and get a real sense of the services we provide for the Chelsea Pensioners.

Trusts and Foundations - thank you!

All donations make a very real difference to the veterans for whom we care.

The charities and organisations listed below reflect just some of those who have recently awarded grants.  These donations have helped in so many ways – from funding the refurbishment of the Infirmary, to supporting veterans and older people living with dementia or helping to fund our Chelsea Pensioners Veterans Outreach programme.  Crucially, they have also contributed to our core operating costs.

Thank you to all of our supporters and partners, including those who have chosen to remain anonymous
