Thank you for choosing to fundraise for us!
Supporting us should be a rewarding and positive experience, so here’s our fundraising promise to you:
We are clear, open and honest
- We’re clear about who we are, what we do and how your gift is used to help our veterans.
- For every pound we spend, we aim to invest at least 74p into our charitable objectives
- We keep you updated on how the funds you’ve raised are helping our Chelsea Pensioners and answer all reasonable questions about our fundraising activities and costs.
We are committed to the highest standards
- We are registered with the Fundraising Regulator and are committed to their code of practice and Fundraising Promise, so you can give to us and fundraise for us with confidence and trust.
- We do all we can to ensure that the fundraisers, volunteers and fundraising contractors working with us comply with the Fundraising Code and with this Promise.
- We comply with the law including laws that apply to data protection, health and safety and the environment.
We are respectful
- We won’t put pressure on you to make a gift and if you don’t want to give, or wish to stop giving, we’ll respect your decision.
- We respect the rights, dignities and privacy of our supporters and beneficiaries, and are particularly mindful with vulnerable people, including the elderly.
- We take care not to use any images or words that cause unjustifiable distress or offence. We also take care not to cause unreasonable nuisance or disruption.
We look after your data
- We comply with data protection laws. Your details are held on our secure database and we promise never to pass them on to another organisation for their marketing purposes.
- If you tell us that you don’t want us to contact you, we promise we won’t do so.
We listen and are accountable
- We ensure contacting us is easy and that we tell you how to do so. Our friendly team are here to answer any questions you have.
- If you’re unhappy about anything we’ve done while fundraising, you can contact us to make a complaint.
If you have feedback or a question, we’d love to hear from you!
