Infirmary refurbishment nominated for ‘Best Interior Design’ at Healthcare Design Awards 2025

Updated:

We are delighted to announce that the refurbishment of our Infirmary building has been nominated for ‘Best Interior Design’ at the Healthcare Design Awards 2025. The awards celebrate excellence in design that enhances healthcare environments, and we are thrilled for our Infirmary to be amongst the nominees.

The extensive refurbishment project began in 2022, with the aim to modernise our Infirmary and provide state-of-the-art facilities for the Chelsea Pensioners. This was to ensure the highest standards of comfort, accessibility, and care.

We would like to say a special thank you to Park Grove Design, whose vision and expertise brought this transformation to life. Their dedication and creativity have resulted in an environment that blends functionality with a welcoming, homely atmosphere to reflect the community of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

The nomination for 'Best Interior Design' is a testament to the collaborative efforts and planning that went into this refurbishment and we are excited for the awards in February this year.
