Welfare Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Welfare Administrator. The Welfare team, part of the department of Health & Wellbeing, support the Chelsea Pensioners to experience a high level of overall wellbeing. Working within this team is a hugely rewarding and fulfilling experience where no two days are the same.
Reporting to the Head of In-Pensioner Welfare, you will be the welcoming face of the Welfare department — providing front-of-house support and being a key point of contact for our In-Pensioners, their families, and external stakeholders. In this role you will assist with a wide range of administrative and practical tasks to support the In-Pensioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to daily queries from In-Pensioners, families, and colleagues.
- Assist In-Pensioners with tasks such as form-filling, booking appointments, and troubleshooting devices.
- Coordinate transport and peer escorts for hospital visits.
- Maintain accurate records and manage the issuing of mobile pendants.
- Support the planning of onsite activities, training, and workshops.
- Provide general admin support across the Welfare team.

This is a full time role working an average of 41 hours per week.
