Growing Connections: Pumpkin Halloween Planters

Date: Tuesday 13 October 2026
Time: 10.00am - 3:00pm
Location: Royal Hospital Chelsea Allotments

Halloween Pumpkin Planters is part of our Growing Connections programme at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, delivered in partnership with the Defence Garden Scheme (DGS) and funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.

Now in our second year of running these monthly sessions, Growing Connections continues to provide Veterans with opportunities to connect with nature, learn new skills, and enjoy time together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The Halloween Pumpkin Planters event brings a seasonal twist to our gardening activities in giving Veterans the chance to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening. As with all of our Growing Connections sessions, the day begins with mindfulness activities, helping everyone slow down, relax, and appreciate the natural surroundings before getting hands-on with planting.
