Community Event: Seated Movement to Music

Updated:

Join former English National Ballet dancer Alice Crawford for our fortnightly expressive and joyful movement classes for older people and people affected by dementia.

Developed over several years through sessions with the Chelsea Pensioners, Alice has crafted a unique programme inspired by dance which aids, maintains and improves joint mobility for older people. Gently building stamina and strength through the repetition of movement, these gentle sessions aim to act as a beneficial tool in maintaining memory and focus.

Full of laughter and fun, sessions take place in the safe environment of the Royal Hospital Chelsea’s historic Soane Stable Yard.

These sessions are kindly sponsored by Draycott Nursing and Care.

Spaces are limited, so booking is strongly recommended. To book your space for yourself or as a carer, contact our Community Engagement & Outreach Manager.
