Join Janet Bounds as she shares an insight into the world of mudlarking in this fascinating talk about her discoveries along the River Thames. Taking you through 400 years of history she will share some of her favourite finds from the Tudor through to Victorian age with an opportunity for a closer look after the talk.
Also on display will be a series of work made by the Chelsea Pensioners in response to a 6 week project with Janet and the hospitals pottery tutor Emily Chilvers over the summer, exploring creative ways to respond to her Mudlarking collection. This project culminates on September 24th for the National Day of Arts in Care Homes.
