This November, commemorate the service and sacrifice of those who lived through the First World War (1914–1918) with an extraordinary collection of authentic artifacts, some more than a century old.
Meet military historian Paul Hunt as he brings history to life through original objects and personal stories from the Great War. Learn about the young soldiers who fought in key battles such as the Marne, the Somme and Passchendaele, and discover the human stories behind the conflict.
The session also features the inspiring story of unsung hero James Nourse, alongside a display of his personal items.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience and his long association with the Royal British Legion, Paul provides an engaging, hands-on experience that explores both the battlefields and the Home Front.
Suitable for all ages. Free drop-in activity.
