Dementia Friendly Festive Celebration

Drop in any time between 10.30am and 3pm for our festive celebration marking one year of dementia-inclusive activities in the Soane Stable Yard.

With sing-alongs from the Chelsea Pensioner Singers and performances from London-based women’s acapella group, The Treblemakers, plus drop-in festive creative activities, we'll have a jolly old time!

Event itinerary

  • 10.30-3:00pm: drop-in festive creative activities in our cozy Studio space 
  • 10.30am: Visit to the Wren Chapel and Great Hall
  • 11:00am: Welcome from Sir Adrian Bradshaw, Governor of the Royal Hospital Chelsea 
  • 11.05am: Carols with the Chelsea Pensioner Singers 
  • 11.30am: Performance from The Treblemakers, London-based women's a capella group 
  • 1:00pm: 'Twas the Night Before Christmas - reading by the Chelsea Pensioners
  • 2.15pm: Visit to the Wren Chapel & Great Hall
