Community Event: Dementia-Inclusive Sensory Walk

Updated:

Join us for our dementia-friendly relaxed sensory walk

Experience the 330-year-old buildings of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in a totally new way. Each month we will take a relaxed, sensory stroll through different areas of the Royal Hospital grounds. Smell the aromas of the delicious food served in the Great Hall, hear beautiful organ music in the Wren Chapel, or take in the stunning Christopher Wren architecture.

Held on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 10.30am, this experience is primarily for people living with dementia, their carers and loved ones, but all adults who feel they would benefit from a more sensory experience are welcome.

To register your interest for yourself or as a carer, contact our Community Engagement & Outreach Manager, email: community.engagement@chelsea-pensioners.org.uk or phone 07583 695 301

Two Chelsea Pensioners stand aside to welcome you as they open the doors of the Wren Chapel
