'Twas the Night Before Christmas – Interactive Storytelling and Puppetry
Step into a festive wonderland and join our Chelsea Pensioners for a magical storytelling experience set in our beautifully decorated Christmas-themed room.

Times: 11.00 - 11.30 and 13.00 - 13.30
Location: Soane Stable Yard (enter via Chelsea Gate)
Tickets: £8 per child - each child must be accompanied by an adult.
In this highly interactive session, children will be captivated by the timeless tale of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, originally titled A Visit from St. Nicholas. Brought to life through lively storytelling, festive props, charming puppets, and playful character acting, this enchanting experience invites young audiences to become part of the story as it unfolds.
With twinkling lights, Christmas cheer, and plenty of opportunities to join in, our Pensioners will use puppetry, performance, and audience participation to share this much-loved tale with warmth, humour, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic.

Each 30-minute session is designed to delight young imaginations, encourage participation, and fill everyone with festive cheer. Expect laughter, surprises, memorable characters, engaging puppets, and plenty of Christmas magic along the way.

Each session is limited to 15 child tickets. One ticket is required per child. Adults attend free, with a maximum of one adult per child.
