This Christmas, your support can make a world of difference to the lives of veterans at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Many of our Chelsea Pensioners, who served their country with pride, now find community and companionship here, thanks to supporters like you. But for many, life before arriving at the Royal Hospital was marked by loneliness and isolation.

How your donation helps

A donation today will help us extend this vital sense of camaraderie to veterans in need, both within and beyond our gates. Contributions support a vibrant environment where older veterans can thrive, offering social events, activities, and outings that foster connection and friendship. Your gift will also aid our outreach programme, which shares this warmth with veterans who may still feel isolated in the civilian world. By inviting veterans to join us at events here and through our new outreach ‘roadshow’, we are reaching those who may feel forgotten, offering them a chance to reconnect and build new friendships.

From the joy of shared meals in the Great Hall to Christmas celebrations with fellow veterans, your generosity makes it all possible. Every donation, big or small, has an impact. Help us continue to care for and include those who once served us all.

Here is my Christmas gift to help bring comradeship, kindness and care to our Nation’s veterans:

• £35 could help cover the cost of settling a new Chelsea Pensioner into the Royal Hospital.
