We are seeking a dedicated and talented Sous Chef to join our esteemed kitchen team at the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the culinary excellence while honing your skills in a supportive and professional environment.

About the Role

As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in assisting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. You’ll help ensure the delivery of consistently high-quality meals to residents, staff, and guests.  This is an ideal role for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culinary Leadership and Operations: Assist the Head Chef with food production, oversee daily meal preparation for residents, ensuring high standards and smooth service.
  • Compliance and Training: Ensure adherence to food hygiene, health and safety, and allergen legislation, while training and managing kitchen staff.
  • Administrative and Supervisory Responsibilities: Conduct staff performance reviews, deputise for Head Chefs during absences, and oversee efficient running of the kitchen.
