Exhibition: Battlefield to Boutique: How the British Military has influenced fashion.

Date: 20th - 22nd February 2026

London Fashion Week returns to the capital from 19–23 February 2026, celebrating the very best of British creativity and design.  Join us at the Soane Stable Yard for a temporary display exploring the enduring impact of the British Military on civilian fashion.

Chelsea Pensioners in scarlet uniforms march in formation across the lawn at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, led by an officer in black ceremonial dress. A military band performs behind them, with the historic colonnade and brick buildings in the background.
Two Chelsea Pensioners in traditional scarlet uniforms stand side by side inside the Wren Chapel at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Wooden benches line the chapel, and the ornate altar and painted apse are visible behind them.
