The Royal Hospital Chelsea is home to the world-famous Chelsea Pensioners. The Hospital itself is one of the UK’s most important historic buildings, designed by Sir Christopher Wren and Sir John Soane.

On this exclusive Veterans guided tour, a Chelsea Pensioner guide will highlight the Royal Hospital’s history, from its founding by King Charles II in the 1600s to the damage it sustained during Second World War air raids. They will also explain what daily life is like for a Chelsea Pensioner and how this stunning site has been used and adapted over the centuries.
